Mengele's Process
After being sent to Auschwitz, Mengele was anxious to start his experiments. When new Jewish or Gypsie prisoners came to Auschwitz they were told to stand in a line. The SS guards would send a person to the left or to the right. Going to the right meant that your life would be sparred, but still horrible. Going to the left meant death by gas chambers. Mengele and his assistants would stand there looking for anyone who had unusaul traits especially twins. The people choosen, mostly children, would now undergo the most devastating experinces of their young lives.
